Solid State Variable Speed AC Electric Motor Control, 2.5 Max amp, 115V, KBWC-13K

The control provides infinite variable speed for shaded pole and PSC motors. Max amps should not exceed the motor's rated nameplate amperage, or else the control and motor will be damaged. It is essential to run the motor with sufficient torque to prevent stalling, as a motor that does not turn will overheat and burn up. Additionally, the motor must have a fan blade installed on the shaft for direct drive in order to cool it; it should not be used with gear motors. Please note that installed controls are not eligible for return.

This product is designed to fit into a standard 2" x 4" electrical wall box and has a maximum rating of 2.5 amps at 115 volts. It is UL and CSA approved, but cannot be used with capacitor start or capacitor run motors. The control is suitable for a variety of applications including fans, blowers, fireplace blowers, attic fans, humidifiers, and ventilators.
